A wonderful hand painted oil on canvas "A Scene of River Avon" by Debra Williams. It depicts a scene of the River Avon in Bath, England looking towards the Pulteney Bridge. The city of Bath was founded as a Roman thermal spa and exhibits wonderful examples of early Georgian architecture. The Pulteney Bridge was designed by Robert Adam in 1769 and completed in 1774. It is only one of four bridges in the world to have shops located on it. The paint strokes, hand painted by the artist, are visible along with her signature at the bottom left.
